Nutmeg charms are old charms within Hoodoo-Conjure for good luck, drawing money, and gambling. These charms would be hollowed out, filled with liquid mercury, and sealed closed with candle wax. Due to mercury’s highly toxic nature, I don’t add any liquid mercury to my fixed nutmeg charms. These have been hollowed out, packed with a money powder containing a multitude of herbs, roots, and plants that will draw money and luck, and sealed with candle wax before undergoing a process of blessing and feeding each charm.
